March has been a very creative time at St. Matthias NS. One of our favourite days in the school calendar is World book day. Every year we look forward to seeing the beautiful and original costumes the children wear. We love to hear about their favourite books and the excitement it brings. This year we created our own book of short stories. The Senior room typed up and bound a book filled with stories they had brainstormed with the Junior room. The illustrations and imaginative stories were fabulous. Everyone throughly enjoyed the “yard catwalk” where they paraded their outfits and favourite books to cheers from their friends.
