Pupils at St. Matthias NS have just finished a 5 week singing course with local singer Lisa Canty. Lisa came into the Junior room every Wednesday for 30 minutes and spent another 30 minutes in the Senior room. Amongst the wide range of songs she covered were “We don’t talk about Bruno”, “ The 3 little birds”, “ You can count on me” and many more. She always left our school with the children in great form so a big thanks to Lisa. We all made St. Brigid crosses this year and enjoyed our Bank Holiday too.
