The Board of Management is one that brings a wealth of experience to the governance of St. Matthias. Since coming to office, the Board has shown a collective determination to improve all aspects of school life and ensure its growth.
On the 29th of September St Matthias 5th and 6th class children took part in the autumn orienteering event for West Cork primary schools. The event took place in the community grounds of Schull, using the new orienteering map of the area. This was a great introduction to the adventure sport of Orienteering. We were delighted to welcome our new Junior Infants class in September and hope that their time with us will be very happy. We hope they will reach their highest potential whilst at the same time building memories and forming friendships that will last a lifetime.
