St. Patrick’s Day

St. Matthias was a riot of colour as we participated in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ballydehob. Our theme this year was “A leprechaun’s rainbow journey”. The staff (in particular Aoife) and the children had been working tirelessly behind the scenes for weeks in the lead up to 17th March. There were lots of homemade trinkets like parts of  the Leprechaun’s village for the students to carry. Rev. Steve had the important job of carrying the “Watch Out For Leprechauns Passing” sign. It was a lovely bright day and there was a great atmosphere around the village. A huge thank you to all the parents, children, Rev. Steve and staff who participated in a most joyful parade this year.
