Here are some pictures of our song workshop that we did with Clare Sands, who partnered with Levis’ Corner House in Ballydehob to help the children write an original song. She did some fun games with rhythm and sang some well-known songs with the children in our school tent. Then she asked 2nd and 3rd class for inspiration about where we live and we wrote a verse and chorus to go with it. The Senior room also had time with Clare and wrote some verses. At the end of the week we went down to Levis’ and recorded the full song with her and a sound engineer.
