We had an action packed day in Bantry for our school tour. After playing beach games first, we all got to go kayaking with Bantry boat hire which was such fun. After lunch on the beach the Junior & Middle room went swimming or beach combing while the Senior room went for a boat trip.

In June 2021 we were so lucky to get to go open water swimming in Cadagon’s strand in Schull for the week with the lovely Sarah Mc Knight. We really enjoyed it. Each room had their own hour of swimming every morning and it was wonderful to see how the pupils progressed over the week.

We decided to make our own art in the school yard to celebrate St. Patrick’s day. The Juniors helped colour in the rainbow and we all coloured in “Là le Pádraig sona daoibh” . Pupils in the middle room “donned the green jersey” and we think they all look great!
Everyone is so happy to be back at school, following 2 months doing schoolwork via the Seesaw platform. We all got dressed up as our favourite character and brought in our favourite books. We all got a chance to look at everybody’s book and listen to the other students talking about them.
