Friday our final active day! Again we were so lucky with the weather. We decided to walk down to the community park after break and avail of the basketball courts, tennis courts and really big field there. The students participated in relay races with hurdles, played badminton and soccer. It was lovely to see the
Thursday started off with the students washing the staff’s cars. They were in luck as Mrs. Connolly and Mr. H had really dirty cars!! One of the passers by was so impressed by the students’ hard work that she asked if they would clean hers as well! The lady kindly donated €10 towards our school
Wednesday saw the students jog/ run around the yard in the ” A mile with a smile” challenge. It was so encouraging to see our Infants tearing around the yard brimming with energy. Tuesday started off with the students skipping around the yard to accomplish their “A Mile with a smile” challenge. Some students reported an increase of their fitness already so that was a great boost to them. All the pupils enjoyed a 6 week golf lesson stint with Kenmare Golf club expert Adrian. They loved all the pitching and putting shots and even designed their own golf course in the yard. The Senior room have converted our top yard to a badminton court and here they are playing a doubles match
