On Sunday 27th November 2016, the children of Saint Matthias National School were invited to sing carols on stage at the Ballydehob Christmas Fair. School Calendar 2016 – 2017 School lunches will begin again from Monday November 7th. On Monday the 20th of May, the entire school took the bus to Ballyrisode Beach. The children were divided into 6 teams and challenged to find various rock-pool species. After having worked up an appetite, we had a picnic. The children created their own sand sculptures, followed by a paddle in the sea before returning
The senior class visited Zipit Forest Adventure, with 800 metres of zip lines at Farran Park. It was a fun packed day of adventure on the spectacular treetop rope course.
