Once again this year the lucky students at St. Matthias NS experienced a week of open water swimming lessons. We went to Cadogan’s strand every day in the first week of June. We were blessed with the weather, which made getting into the water that little bit easier! Sarah Mc Knight a local sea swimming instructor was our teacher again. She started each lesson with some sea safety reminders and some warm up exercises before they headed into the bracing Atlantic Ocean. Everyone had a super week enjoying the Wild Atlantic way on our doorstep.
