On the 29th of September St Matthias 5th and 6th class children took part in the autumn orienteering event for West Cork primary schools. The event took place in the community grounds of Schull, using the new orienteering map of the area. This was a great introduction to the adventure sport of Orienteering.
The course length was approx. 2 km and used electronic timing. 39 teams took part, Congratulations to the 3 St Matthias teams which came in 7th, 9thand 28th.
