We’ve had another busy week at St. Matthias. Our endeavour to be as sustainable as possible in this school year started this week with us making our own stock , brown bread and pumpkin soup. We used any left over vegetables from Food dudes to make stock for our soup. The seeds we scooped out from the pumpkins were roasted with salt and olive oil and sprinkled on top of our delicious bowls of soup. In such miserable weather conditions this week the children were delighted to be warmed by by healthy bowls of soup.
