We had a lovely December, getting ready for the Festive season at St. Matthias NS. The month was spent making beautiful Christmas art and of course getting ready for our Christmas play. The Senior room were heavily involved in writing the script, making the props and providing musical effects during the show. The parents really enjoyed our child centred play. On our last day of school the Junior room headed off down the village dressed in their Christmas outfits. We had the task of ticking off all the festive pictures we saw in Ballydehob. We walked over the 12 Arch Bridge singing Christmas songs. With happy hearts everyone departed the school in great spirits. We look forward to welcoming them back in the New Year!
