School Calendar 2016 – 2017 School lunches will begin again from Monday November 7th. Children will be provided daily with a filled sandwich, roll or wrap or soup and roll, plus a piece of fruit and dairy product. On Monday the 20th of May, the entire school took the bus to Ballyrisode Beach. The children were divided into 6 teams and challenged to find various rock-pool species. After having worked up an appetite, we had a picnic. The children created their own sand sculptures, followed by a paddle in the sea before returning
The senior class visited Zipit Forest Adventure, with 800 metres of zip lines at Farran Park. It was a fun packed day of adventure on the spectacular treetop rope course. Friday our final active day! Again we were so lucky with the weather. We decided to walk down to the community park after break and avail of the basketball courts, tennis courts and really big field there. Wednesday saw the students jog/ run around the yard in the ” A mile with a smile” challenge. It was so encouraging to see our Infants tearing around the yard brimming with energy.
