The Junior room seen busy celebrating their recent success in the Moo Crew competition where we scooped the Junior category county winners prize. We submitted a cheese project in April, which was deemed worthy of winning the county prize. For our efforts we received a €100 sports voucher and a certificate. There were winners all
We spent a very enjoyable day learning new cycling skills in the Ballydehob community park recently. Under the watchful eye of Cyclesense, the pupils spent 3 hours alternating between 3 stations acquiring new skills and getting comfortable with road safety. We collected samples of wildflowers ( from Rev Steve’s garden!!) and the heritage worker identified them for us. We caught and identified leeches, mayflies, flatworms, invaded and cased caddis. The object of the exercise was to navigate, in sequence, to different control points along a special course, using an ordinance survey map.
