The Board of Management is one that brings a wealth of experience to the governance of St. Matthias. Since coming to office, the Board has shown a collective determination to improve all aspects of school life and ensure its growth.
Egg hunts, Construct-o- Straws, Noodle Dancing and Easter art – all part of the excitement we had in the Junior room as we celebrated the feast of Easter with creativity and then headed out to the school garden to see if the “Easter Bunny” had left us some surprises – he had hidden them well

During Maths class today all the students learned how to measure out the ingredients for pancakes. This demonstrated a very practical application of weights and proportions. The St Patricks Day Parade theme this year was The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. The School won first prize, many thanks to the Parents Association who came to the school and painted the cards with the children in early March.
