What a final week we had at St. Matthias NS before the midterm. We were so busy making poisonous potions, mixing and creating all sorts of spooky creations. We were defrosting hands with our droppers, dipping our hands into slippery spaghetti and slimy spider jelly! We played an outdoor scavenger hunt, musical statues, paraded our amazing

We were taken to meet Emily, a sweet little 2 week old goat at the Ferguson’s farm recently. We all agreed she was gorgeous and had great fun helping to feed her. On the way down to the farm we worked in pairs completing a Spring checklist. It feels good to be back in the
We decided to make our own art in the school yard to celebrate St. Patrick’s day. The Juniors helped colour in the rainbow and we all coloured in “Là le Pádraig sona daoibh” . Pupils in the middle room “donned the green jersey” and we think they all look great!
