We have 10 new Junior Infants this year at St. Matthias NS. They are in the room with 1st class and everyone is settling in really well. There is lots of play, working on our fine motor skills and phonological awareness. Our 1st class class are working hard on catching up on last year’s work and are progressing very nicely. Everyone is delighted to be back in school and playing with their friends again.
